Hello my name is Aisling Finn, welcome to my photo blog.

My intention with this site is to display one photo taken per day. I like the idea that a photo can be a souvenir. It often surprises me how quickly time goes by and how one day melts into another and I suppose I like to think that a photo is a fragment of a day that no longer exists.

Up until recently I’ve just been using a  compact camera – a Fujifilm Finepix F200 EXR, but now I also have a Nikon D3100.

For anyone who knows anything about photography, you might notice that I have a somewhat limited amount of knowledge on the subject! I do however have a BA (Hons) degree in Visual Arts Practice, which I completed in 2008. These days though I’m more interested in taking photos.
